MCWP: MailChimp for WordPress is one of the best WordPress MailChimp plugins available.

This plugin enables you to create forms directly in WordPress that connect to your MailChimp lists via the MailChimp API.

Typically, this plugin wouldn’t work on a static site, but Strattic has released special support for it and we couldn’t be more excited for our customers to use it! 🥳 🎉

We currently support the vast majority of MCWP’s standard features, and we plan to add more support in the future.

Getting started

Step 1: Install and activate plugin

You must first install and active the MC4WP plugin

Step 2: Connecting with your MailChimp account

You will need to link your MailChimp account with the MC4WP plugin before using it.

To do this, enter your MailChimp API key in the plugin’s settings.

Step 3: Get your MailChimp API key

To get your MailChimp API key, go to this link after logging into your MailChimp account. Alternatively, you can access API keys from Account > Extras > API Keys.

Step 4: Configure the plugin

Enter your API key in the API Key field found at MC4WP > MailChimp.

You’re good to go if the green box says “Connected”.
